Scoil San Carlo Senior recently received grant-funding from INTEL through the Community Foundation for Ireland towards general support to deal with the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Board of Management and the whole school Community would like to thank the Intel Foundation and The Community Foundation for Ireland for their generosity and their foresight to address the issues schools are facing at the moment.The funding is very much appreciated and will support us in implementing a variety of Covid relief efforts, including the purchase of equipment and materials, such as PPE and IT which will benefit our staff and pupils.
Our garden is beginning to recover from the Winter as you can see from these great photos taken recently by our photographer, James Hanafin, with the help of Mr Geoghegan.
Congratulations to Ms Ward and all the pupils of 4th class Room 5 who have been chosen to have the story they created at their 'Fighting Words' Creative Writing Workshop included in the annual supplement of Irish Writing in the Irish Times on the 11th of May. Well done girls and boys!
