Our school recently received our second active flag which shows that we are an active school. The active flag recognises schools that promote physical activity and sport. The active committee played a huge part in this by helping as playground leaders, taking part in marathon kids and by coming up with ideas for our active week. Missing from photo Lisa-Marie and Aaron.

This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to purchase I-Pads to support the use of Digital Portfolios, and provide opportunities for our pupils to develop their digital skills and additional Clever-Touch interactive boards to enhance collaborative computational thinking, literacy and creativity amongst pupils. Access to cloud based applications such as Seesaw and Study-ladder provided additional support for learners.
